Physical fitness is the ability to function efficiently and effectively, to enjoy leisure, to be healthy, to resist disease, and to cope with emergency situations. The health-related components of physical fitness include body-composition, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility muscular endurance, and strength. Skill-related components include agility balance coordination, power, reaction time, and speed. The relative importance of each of the components varies for sports activities but also in our daily lives. At Pilates and Healing our personal training is to enable you to balance all of these components so that you can be healthy and able to cope with all that life can throw at you. Our intention is to make you stronger and healthier to live life feeling good. Your safety is our priority and so we spend time making sure technique is correct so that the risk of injury is minimised. You can choose to work one to one or with a maximum of 4 people in your one hour session. |
